Man's body found after vehicle crash in east Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston Police are waiting for autopsy results in the death of a man Sunday night. It happened around 10pm in the 7200 block of Longview.

Eric Ybarbo, 34, was found lying dead in the middle of the street. Investigators found a truck in a nearby ditch.

A witness heard a disturbance going on between two men, then saw Ybarbo in the street and the truck in the ditch.

"He had a good heart. He had a good heart," Ybarbo's ex-girlfriend told Eyewitness News. "I know he wanted to see his son. He had a good heart."

Ybarbo's cause of death is pending.
