Man who barricaded himself in home in east Harris County taken into custody

A man who had barricaded himself inside a home in east Harris County has been taken into custody by authorities without incident.

A high risk operations unit, similar to a SWAT team, had arrived to the home in the 13000 block of Berwick Street to serve a warrant on Thursday evening. The individual had locked himself in the attic.
