Man shot, left to die in parking lot; search on for killer

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The search is on for a killer who shot a man in the Greenspoint area and left him to die in a parking lot.

Police say the man was shot at the CityView Place Apartments just after midnight on CityView near Carl.

Investigators say someone who didn't live at the complex found the man's body and called 911.

Police have not released the victim's name and its not clear if he actually lived at the building.
