Man shot at southeast Houston night club

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man is in this hospital this morning after someone shot him inside a southeast Houston nightclub.

Police say it happened around 12:30am at La Hacienda Night Club on La Porte at Boulder.

Police say there was some sort of altercation inside the bar and the man was shot in the chest. The victim's friends drove him to a gas station on Broadway at Hwy 225 and flagged down an officer for help.

The victim was taken to Hermann Hospital in serious condition. Police have not made any arrests.
