Man shot and killed in robbery in southwest Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man is dead and two suspects are on the loose after a shooting last night in southwest Houston.

The shooting happened near the Rockport Apartments in the 8500 block of Nairn near South Gessner.

Officials say a man was being robbed by two men. He grabbed one of the suspect's guns and it went off. Police aren't sure if the suspect intentionally shot the man or if the gun accidentally discharged.

The man died from his injuries at the hospital.
