A man and his niece were carjacked by a pair of men at a north Houston Jack in the Box drive-through

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are searching for two armed men who carjacked a man and his niece at a north Houston Jack in the Box drive-thru.

The victims told police they were waiting to get food around midnight at the restaurant on Airline at East Rittenhouse when two men walked up to them with guns. The gunmen pulled both the man and his 17-year-old niece out of the vehicle and then assaulted the niece.

A third suspect then arrived, and all three men took off in the man's pickup truck.

The suspects got to West Parker and the North Freeway where they slammed into another pickup truck causing minor damage to that vehicle. The two suspects jumped out and ran.

Houston police arrested the getaway driver and are searching for the two other carjacking suspects. The getaway driver faces charges of robbery with a deadly weapon and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
