Man found shot to death in southwest Houston parking lot

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The search is on for the gunman who murdered a man at a southwest Houston apartment building.

Police found the man's body in the parking lot of the building on Beechnut near the Beltway.

Neighbors called 911 just after 11:30pm when they heard gunshots.

But by the time police arrived, the shooter was gone and the victim was dead.

Police have not released a motive in this case.
