Man flips truck off bridge, crashes near bayou in SW Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man drove his pickup truck off the road and narrowly missed landing in a bayou in southwest Houston.

It happened last night around 11:30pm just off the Beltway feeder at the Southwest Freeway.

Officials at the scene say it appears the man lost control of that truck and hit a concrete barrier. His truck then flipped multiple times before it flew off a bridge.

The driver was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.

No one else was hurt.
