Man claims he was lured by woman into dangerous robbery, Jessica Willey reports.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A north Houston man says he was set up and robbed by a young woman he knew.

The terrifying ordeal happened Monday night. The 21-year-old victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, says it all started with a seemingly harmless Facebook conversation. It ended much darker and with him fearing for his life.

"The knife was on the passenger side. The driver's side had the gun," he told Eyewitness News.

It was the girl, in her late teens, who got him there. He says the two had known each other for a year and a half. Monday night they started talking on Facebook and agreed to meet at Berry Elementary in northeast Houston.

He says it was around 9pm when she got in his truck and directed him down a remote road, where she then got out. He then found himself sandwiched in his own truck between two guys, one of whom he thought was her brother.

One had a knife. The other had a gun.

"He told me 'keep your head down. Don't (expletive) look at me,'" he said. "I said you can have my truck. You can have my phone. You can have all that money. I don't care. Just let me go. I won't say anything. Just let me get out of here. I'm 21. You know, I got a job. I'm trying to help out my mom. He said, no. You're going to (expletive) die," he explained.

Somehow he managed to get out and run. They stole his truck, a red 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 that was a graduation gift. They also took his phone, $700 cash and his ID. He took his ordeal to Facebook and says he's heard from other potential victims and that's why he's telling his story.

"I just hope they get everything that's coming to them and pay the consequences," he said.

Houston police are investigating the incident as an aggravated robbery and kidnapping.

Eyewitness News is not identifying the young woman because she has not been charged with a crime.
