Man accused of trying to steal Ford truck on display at RodeoHouston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Apparently one man thought he could go to the barbecue cook off at NRG Park to get tasty food and a brand new truck! The only problem? The truck wasn't his!

Prosecutors say Isidro Rodriguez jumped behind the wheel of a $70,000 truck that was part of the Ford display at the cook off. He drove off, but was stopped before getting off of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo property.

Rodriguez is charged with theft.
