HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl inside a CVS Pharmacy bathroom was arrested out of state, sources tell Eyewitness News.

Christopher Barillas was arrested in Virginia on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child. We're told he has a relative there.

Southside Place police identified Barillas, 27, as the primary suspect in the October 16 incident at the CVS Pharmacy off Bellaire and Stella Link through evidence collected during a sexual assault kit.

Barillas, who is homeless, has a criminal history so his information was already in a law enforcement database.

We'll have the latest information on Eyewitness News at 10pm.
