Man accused of fatally stabbing ex's new boyfriend in N. Harris Co.

HOUSTON, TX (KTRK) -- One person is dead after a stabbing in an apartment parking lot in north Harris County.

Investigators say Calvin Washington, 25, was found stabbed at the Villas at Pine Lake Apartments, located at 5301 North Sam Houston Parkway East. His girlfriend told deputies that the two had gone to a nearby restaurant where they ran into her ex-boyfriend, identified as Antonio McGee, 25.

Washington and the girlfriend went back to the apartment when deputies say McGee approached them. An argument followed that turned violent, during which McGee reportedly stabbed Washington.

Washington was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital Northeast, where he was pronounced dead.

McGee was found at a relative's apartment, where was taken into custody. Murder charges are pending.
