Loud explosion rocks Brenham overnight

BRENHAM, Texas (KTRK) -- A loud explosion woke people up in the Brenham area overnight.

The culprit: an air compressor valve, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Calls began coming into the ABC13 newsroom around 3 a.m. Sunday morning.

One viewer said her whole house shook.

No word on where the valve was or any other information just yet.
