LEAGUE CITY, TX -- League City has garnered bragging rights to another ranking.
In a new study which identifies U.S. cities that have displayed rapid economic growth, League City was ranked eighth in small cities and 16 overall.
The study, conducted by the personal finance website Wallethub.com, reflects cities that have expanded socio-economically between 2008 and 2013.
According to the city's website, League City has averaged about 1,100 new home permits annually for the last three years and expects to continue to that trend this year.
