Clues sought in murder case
Family members are fighting for justice in a murder from November 2013

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Emotions ran high inside Houston Police headquarters Tuesday morning. The mother of a Houston man, found dead on his living room floor, pleaded for his killer's capture.

Elizabeth Oshodi-Alagoa, her son 22-year old Daniel Oshodi-Alagoa, and the man's uncle Olu McGuinnis Otubin stood side by side downtown asking for the public's help in solving David Oshodi-Alagoa's murder. They hope information can help investigators with a much needed break in the case.

"They stole something that they can never ever replace. David was more than 10 sons from me," said Elizabeth Oshodi-Alagoa. "They took half of me when they took him."

Two men found the 24-year-old shot to death in his Houston apartment in November 2013. Investigators said he was shot and died of blunt force trauma to his torso and neck. The killer or killers stole two vehicles and a Rolex watch before fleeing the complex.

One of the cars, a 2013 Toyota Camry, was recovered abandoned Fort Bend County in February 2014.

The other car, a silver Mercedes Cs5 with Texas license plates CDL-1950, and watch are still missing. HPD detectives suspect robbery as a motive, and believe the killer may have known Oshodi-Alagoa.

There's a $5,000 reward in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
