Katy man dies in big rig rollover wreck on FM 149

KATY, TX -- A 42-year-old Katy man died after an 18-wheeler rollover crash on FM 149, just three and a half miles south of Montgomery.
Jason Brent Rosson, who drove a semi-trailer gas tanker filled with thousands of gallons of fuel, was pronounced dead at Conroe Regional Medical Center on Monday at 1:50 p.m., according to the Texas Department of Public Safety fatality report.
A DPS official said Rosson's truck traveled north on FM 149 when it drifted to the right, dropping the right tires of the truck and trailer off the pavement. Rosson overcorrected to the left, causing the tanker load of gasoline to shift right, the report states.
