Judge orders new jury selection
A jury will be chosen again in a civil trial involving Patti LaBelle

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A federal judge has ordered a "redo" for jury selection in a civil trial for a multi-million dollar lawsuit against legendary R&B star Patti LaBelle.

Lawyers argued that an all white jury would not be fair in the case involving a fight between LaBelle's bodyguards and a West Point cadet at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in 2011.

The trial, scheduled to begin Monday, is now delayed.

US District Judge Keith Ellison says both sides need to start over Tuesday and pick 12 jurors from a larger pool of citizens.

LaBelle is expected to testify.
