Jet skids off runway at Montgomery Co. airport

CONROE, TX (KTRK) -- It was a scary landing for a pilot at Lone Star Executive Airport just north of Conroe.

The Phenom jet skidded off the end of the runway when landing this morning. The aircraft ending up with its nose in a ditch and tail up in the air.

The pilot and a co-pilot were on board at the time. Authorities tell us they were not injured.

So far no word on exactly what caused the plane to skid.

Investigators with the federal aviation administration are heading to the scene.
