HPD: Suspect in custody following standoff

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police took a suspect into custody without incident after the individual was barricaded inside a home in southeast Houston.

Authorities arrived to the residence in the 6000 block of Crestridge Street just before 9:20pm.

According to police, the suspect was driving a stolen car and was pulled over by authorities. The suspect took off during the stop, which led to a chase.

No other details have been released.
