Houston police officer injured during chase along North Freeway

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Houston police officer was injured during a chase along the North Freeway Sunday afternoon.

Officers were chasing two stolen cars along I-45 near the Beltway when one of the cars hit a police cruiser. The second stolen vehicle struck another car along the feeder road.

Both suspects were arrested after fleeing to a nearby Pappa's Seafood House.

The officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police are still investigating.
