HPD: Man shoots, kills brother during argument

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man has shot and killed his brother, according to Houston Police.

The incident happened at 9:10pm on Saturday at Westover near Crestmont.

During an argument, police say 48-year-old Standrick Adams pulled a gun and shot his brother Jesse Adams, 44, one time in the chest, killing him.

Authorities say the brothers both lived at the residence with their mother. It's unclear whether she was home at the time of the shooting.

Standrick Adams was arrested at the scene. He is charged with murder.
