HPD investigating fatal stabbing in west Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man found at 12850 Whittington about 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

The victim, Method Mengi Clecence, 42, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. L. Holbrook and Senior Police Officer P. Vela said a family member returned home from work and found Clecence deceased in the living room of his apartment. A knife was found near the body. There were no signs of forced entry to the residence.
