Texas hotel grants request for Andy Cohen photo
A College Station hotel made good on one Andy Cohen fan's weird request.

COLLEGE STATION, TX (KTRK) -- Taking a page from a Jeff Goldblum fan's big hospitality win last year, a Texas journalist requested and was greeted by a framed photo of television personality Andy Cohen at a College Station hotel earlier this month.

ABC13 web producer Brandon de Hoyos said his request was merely "a handsome test for Aloft" hotel employees during his weekend stay.

"And they passed the test," de Hoyos said, with a laugh.

The Aggieland-area Aloft hotel fulfilled the request, sliding a photo of Cohen inside a simple plexiglass frame.

"When I walked in, I saw the photo, and I all I could do was laugh," de Hoyos said.

Cohen, he said, is his boyfriend Rudie's favorite television star.

Last September, we told you about a man who requested placement of framed photos of actor Jeff Goldblum throughout his Santa Monica, Calif., hotel room.

Seth Freedland's request was also made on behalf of the affections of a significant other, in this case his girlfriend.

When a hotel guest asked for framed photos of actor Jeff Goldblum to be scattered across his room, he was surprised to see the hotel actually made this bizarre accommodation possible.

Hotel staffers are long-pressed for an assortment of interesting requests.

Traveling businessman Sean Fitzsimmons, 28, made news during his weekly travels by asking hotel staff to fulfill unusual requests after growing bored from routine check ins, ABC News reports.

From Denver to Salt Lake City, Fitzsimmons tried a variety of things, from having staff draw pictures of what they think he looks like before arriving at the hotel, to providing photos of a dog dressed as a boat captain.

"Many people at the front desk have told me they they thought my request was hilarious and that they had so much fun doing it," he said. "It makes them laugh and it helps take their mind off the daily grind."
