HARRIS COUNTY (KTRK) -- The Harris County Sheriff's Office says at least two people were injured in celebratory gunfire overnight.
Deputies were called out to at least three separate locations involving people firing guns into the air.

HCSO had issued warning against celebratory gunfire earlier in the week.
Celebratory gunfire is a Class A misdemeanor. Violators could face up to a year in prison and a $4,000 fine.
