OAKLAND, CA -- A man covered in gold spray paint was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after he allegedly hit three cars.

When Oakland California Highway Patrol or CHP pulled over 21-year-old Damaj Cook, he was slathered in head-to-toe gold spray paint. Don't believe us? The CHP posted photos to Facebook saying, "It's never a dull day for Oakland CHP."

Police arrested Cook for DUI after he reportedly hit three cars on Interstate 80 in Berkeley. Somehow, no one got hurt. It appears police even covered their chairs so the paint didn't spread. Probably a good move considering the man's steering wheel was covered in the paint.

We called police to get the backstory on why this man was covered in gold spray paint. They tell us he was returning from a photoshoot.
