Customer shot three times during attempted robbery

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An overnight shooting at a gas station in southeast Houston sends a customer to the hospital.

Around 1:30am, two people barged into a Citgo Gas Station at 11555 Cullen Boulevard and Kennedy Heights and started shooting.

One customer was shot three times. The victim was transported to the hospital but is expected to recover.

The suspects then fled the scene without taking anything.
