Crews work to fix latest water main break
The third break in a week near the Galleria has impacted businesses and drivers

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Another water main in the Galleria area Saturday. The latest break was at Richmond Avenue near Sage.

The water main break caused a big problem, not only for traffic, but for business in the area, too. Some shut down pretty much all day since the water was shut off.

The street there were flooded and traffic was stopped. Trucks full of gravel and sand were brought in to fill the hole.

This isn't the first water main break in the Galleria area. Two other breaks happened on Westheimer in the last few days, causing a big problem there, too.

The city of Houston says this isn't a big deal. They respond to about 150 water main breaks daily.

But, of course, when there is one on a busy road like Richmond, it certainly draws attention.

The water expected to be back on very soon.
