ROSENBERG, TX -- A 38-year old Brownsville, Texas man was arrested and booked into the Fort Bend County Jail on first degree felony charges of manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a criminal instrument after he was apprehended by officers with the Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force on April 19.
Ernesto Villareal, Jr. was arrested when officers working a highway interdiction program pulled over a work/utility truck for a traffic violation on U.S. 59 north in Rosenberg.
During the road side investigation, the interdiction detective and his K-9 partner "RIK" located 36 bundles of cocaine concealed in a fabricated compartment in the bed portion of the truck.
