Fisherman reported missing at Bryan Beach in Freeport

GALVESTON, TX -- Authorities are searching for a fisherman who went missing at Bryan Beach in Freeport.

According to officials, the man was wade fishing with two other men when the current got too strong.

One of the men made it to the shore, but the other couldn't.

The Freeport Police Department, Freeport Fire Department and Coast Guard are currently searching for a missing fisherman.
