ESPN reporter Britt McHenry has been suspended for one week after video surfaced Thursday where she berates an employee at a tow yard.

"I'm in the news, sweetheart. I will (expletive) sue this place," McHenry said.

She lobs insults at the employee about her education, intellect and appearance.

"Maybe if I was missing some teeth they would hire me, huh?" McHenry said. "Lose some weight, baby girl."

The heavily-edited video was posted to the site, Live Leak, and quickly went viral.

McHenry, who is a Washington D.C.-based reporter at ABC13's sister network, ESPN, took to Twitter to apologize.

"As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake," she wrote.
