HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Forty-eight hours after three people disappeared beneath flood waters, when the HFD boat preparing to carry them to safety capsized, the search for the third and final victim continued.

The bodies of an 82-year-old woman and a man in his 50's were recovered on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

Today's search area was several miles downstream on Brays Bayou.

Equusearch was called in by the family to help in the efforts to reclaim the elderly victim, who was the husband of the woman who was found earlier.

Frank Black, of Texas Equusearch, said, "The son contacted us. He already had his mother back. Now he wants to find his dad. We're going to help him do that."

A sonar boat was brought in to aid his the search, but without result by Thursday evening. A fire department life vest was found on the bayou bank.

The search will pick up at 7am tomorrow morning at the bayou, near Wheeler and Cullen.
