Driver flees on foot after slamming into police cruiser in SW Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are looking for a driver who ran a stop sign and hit a cop car in southwest Houston.

The officer was on patrol when that driver hit him on Braewick Drive, off Hillcroft Avenue. That driver got out and ran.

Police say they found a lot of alcohol in his car. He remains on the run.
