Watch: Police officer saves boy from oncoming car
VITEBSK, BELARUS (KTRK) -- Dramatic video shows a police officer saving a boy's life. The officer literally pulled the boy from the path of an oncoming minivan.
Dashcam footage from a nearby car filmed the incident in Belarus.
The student was crossing a busy street when an oncoming minivan lost control on the snow covered road. The police officer grabs the boy and protects him as the minivan slams into the officer's back and they both fall to the ground.
According to the Interior Ministry of Belarus, the minivan would have collided with the child if not for the heroics of the police officer.
Luckily they get to their feet quickly, apparently uninjured and the policeman opens the car door to speak to the offending driver, before the video ends.
