Dead man found tied up in apartment in SW Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are investigating the death of a man who was found tied up inside a southwest Houston apartment.

The crime scene is in the Rockport Apartment complex at 8500 Nairn near Bissonnet. Police say a friend discovered Tahorma Stephen Gboyah tied up in his bed at around 11am Thursday. After several calls went unanswered, the friend went to the apartment to find the door ajar and found Gboyah dead. Police believe he may have been strangled.

A man who had been staying with Gboyah recently is considered a person of interest in the case. Police are also looking for Gboyah's missing gold 2002 Honda Accord, with the license plate FFX 3463.
