Craigslist seller busted via Facebook tip

LEAGUE CITY, TX -- A recent Facebook tip led League City police to an arrest of a suspect advertising his illegal goods on Craigslist.

The tip included a screen shot of the seller's post, which promised "very good strains" of marijuana to potential buyers in the Clear Lake and League City areas.

League City narcotics investigators, posing as 'buyers,' followed up on the post leading to a sell on November 6 and to the arrest of the unwitting seller.
