HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Thieves smashed their way into a video game store this morning, but it does not appear they took anything once making it inside.

Police got a burglary call around 2am this morning at the Game Over Video Game Store in the 3200 block of the Southwest Freeway at Edloe.

Police say someone threw a paver, or a large landscaping stone, to smash the window. Video games were then scattered across parts of the store as well as outside, but the manager says it doesn't appear anything is missing.

Police currently do not have a description of who may have smashed their way into the store, but police are hoping surveillance video may help them identify the crooks.
