A biker's body was recovered this morning in north Houston after a wreck overnight

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man's body was recovered this morning after a motorcycle accident last night in north Harris County.

Harris County Precinct One says a passerby spotted the body in the 13800 block of West Hardy Road near the North Beltway this morning.

The wrecked motorcycle was recovered by family early this morning, but the man's body was not found. We've learned the man's family thought the he was intoxicated and had walked home.

Authorities say based on where the body was found, the driver is estimated to be traveling 120 to 130 miles per hour.

Harris County Precinct 1 investigators are on the scene.
