Authorities raid 21 game rooms
We've learned authorities have raided 21 game rooms in San Jacinto County

One of the largest game room busts of its kind in the state of Texas happened last night in San Jacinto County.

Last night, multiple agencies, led by the San Jacinto Sheriff's Office, raided 21 establishments.

All of the businesses are located in San Jacinto County, but the investigation reached beyond county boundaries.

Warrants were also being executed in Austin, Garland and Liberty County -- all in connection with the raids in San Jacinto County.

Sheriff Greg Capers said teamwork and patience were key. He said, "As far as the total undercover operations, 163 days. As far as how long it took to get all these different agencies involved, 208 people, it's taken probably close to 3 weeks."

Authorities also uncovered the sale of illegal synthetic drugs during their investigation.
