HARRIS COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- Authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting in northwest Harris County.

According to investigators, two of the three suspects entered the meat market at 15000 Timbercreek Place Lane, around 5pm Saturday. When the two men exited the meat market, a Houston police officer approached the suspects.

Investigators say that's when at least one of the suspects fired their gun. The officer also fired his weapon at the suspects. One of the suspects was injured but investigators would not comment on how it occurred.

"I don't want to speculate how he (suspect) got injured," Lt. Joe Ambriz with the Harris County Sheriff's Office said.

All three suspects were taken into custody.

No other details have been released.
