Houston Bar Association offers free legal advice for flood victims

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Houston Bar Association has set up a hotline to offer free legal advice to Houstonians impacted by recent flooding and severe weather.

Through May 6, members of the public can call 713-759-1133 between 8am and 5pm for free legal advice relating to matters of insurance, property, landlord/tenant law, contracts and disaster assistance.

The hotline will be open until 9pm on Wednesday, May 4, for all types of legal questions, not just inquiries related to severe weather.
