4 Soldiers Injured in New Jersey Military Humvee Crash

Four soldiers were injured in a single-vehicle accident involving a military Humvee on the New Jersey turnpike today in South Brunswick, officials said.

A spokesperson for New Jersey State Police told ABC News the Army Reserve vehicle was traveling in a three-vehicle caravan when it crashed.

All four occupants of the military vehicle were rushed to the hospital, with two in critical condition. Two of the four patients were medevaced to the hospital, while the other two were transported by ground.

One of the patients in critical condition has a significant leg injury, according to State Police.

While probable cause of the crash has not yet been identified, the State Police spokesperson says the photos of the aftermath show a tire missing from Humvee.
