HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police hope you can help them track down three suspects wanted in an armed robbery in southwest Houston.

It happened back on July 17 at around 1:35pm at a Sprint store in the 4800 block of Beechnut. Police say the three armed men got out of a black Chevy Impala and entered the store, demanding money from employees.

One suspect reportedly struck an employee with a gun. All three fled with money and a number of cell phones.

The suspects are described only as three black males believed to be 25 to 30 years old. All had their faces covered in the incident.

Police believe the same suspects committed a similar robbery at another Sprint store in the 2800 block of North Shepherd Drive about 9:25am on July 9, as well as other similar robberies in the Houston area.

"These suspects are violent and need to be stopped," said Houston Police Officer Alexandra Harrell. "These suspects have assaulted employees during these robberies for no reason then the suspects selected the store at the time."

Anyone with information on the identity of one or more of the suspects is urged to contact the HPD Robbery Division at 713-308-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
