Suspects living in huge pot grow field sought by cops

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Agents with the Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force are searching for two suspects concerning a marijuana grow field.

The grow field is part of an ongoing investigation. The field, packed with marijuana plants, is about three to five acres in size. Agents descended on the grow field earlier Tuesday. The grow field is west of Highway 6 and south of Voss Road near Cullinan Park.

Agents are being helped by tracking dogs supplied by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

The suspects were living in a makeshift campsite under a tarp and a canopy of vines and other plants.
