Police use Taser on suspect on TSU campus

HOUSTON, Texas -- A suspect has been taken into custody on the Texas Southern University campus after being shocked by a Taser.

Houston police say the pursuit began as a foot chase in the 3700 block of Blodgett near Scott.

The suspect ran onto the TSU campus, where campus police deployed a Taser and took the man into custody.

There's no immediate word on any charges.
