La Porte ISD student arrested for threat against Lomax Junior High School

LA PORTE, Texas (KTRK) -- A Lomax Junior High School student has been arrested after making terroristic threats, according to La Porte ISD.

School officials said they received reports Tuesday morning that a student had made threats towards the school while riding the bus.

La Porte Police Department immediately arrested the student.

The school district says the student did not have a weapon.
