Overturned big rig snarls traffic on southbound East Loop

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- There are major delays Friday afternoon on the southbound lanes of the East 610 Loop after a big rig overturned.

The incident is being reported at the East Loop and State Highway 225.

Crews worked to bring the tractor-trailer up right.

A white substance was seen coming off the truck, but Houston police said it's not hazardous. The contents of the substance was not immediately known.
