Stash house bust
House police busted a stash house in northeast Houston that had 33 people held inside against their will

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police raided a a possible stash house in northeast Houston.

IT happened at a home on Nyssa Street at Mesa Drive. There are four suspects in custody looking at possible criminal charges. The rest of the people rounded up in this raid are being held at an immigration detention facility.

Police removed a total of 26 men and 7 women from the house. Officers say the people were being held against their will and are calling this a case of human trafficking.

All of the people found inside the home are undocumented immigrants from Latin America countries.

"We don't have documentation on their identities, said HPD spokesperson Kese Smith. "There are no children here. There maybe a female age 15 - we're working to determine that- but everyone seems to be roughly adult age."

All were medically checked and everyone was okay. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents will now interview, fingerprint, medically screen and feed those 33 people taken from the home.
