What you need to know if you are traveling Easter weekend

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Expect to see fewer lane closures and roadwork over the Easter weekend.

US-290

There will be two outbound lanes blocked off between Eldridge and Telge starting Friday at 9 p.m. though Monday at 5 a.m.

SH-6 and FM-1960

The westbound ramps from Huffmeister and Telge will be blocked. Take the feeder road or Hempstead Highway as an alternate route.

US-59 San Jacinto River

Roadwork along the southbound bridge will continue.
