Armed man barricaded inside apartment in NW Harris Co.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- An armed man has locked himself inside an apartment in northwest Harris County after a family disturbance.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to the disturbance call in the 13000 block of Champions Park Drive at 5:21 p.m.

A person involved in the call barricaded himself in a unit at the Champions Park Apartments.

Harris County SWAT is on the scene. There is no word of injuries.
