Man killed in Texas car accident that left him impaled on fence

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- A man is dead after authorities say he was impaled on a fence after a high speed crash.
The incident happened early Friday morning in San Antonio.
Sheriff's deputies believe the man was speeding when he lost control of his car, struck a curb, and knocked down about 50 feet of fencing.
When authorities got to the scene, they found the man impaled on the fence
The area around the accident site was closed to traffic for nearly four hours.
